ABOUT US
An Incredible Chiropractic Experience
While we generally meet people after they’ve lost their health, our commitment is two-fold:
1. Relief Care: When many people seek care in our office they have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:
- Uncover the underlying cause
- Recommend a care plan
- You participate in your health
- Explain value of wellness care

Dr. Meghan Schoening
I was fortunate to be raised going to the Chiropractor. I learned at a very young age the philosophy of Chiropractic. I was taught to trust my body, feed it nutrients and keep the inborn intelligence clear through Chiropractic adjustments. I knew I wanted to be a Chiropractor from a young age and set off to college pursuing that passion. During my undergraduate studies at Hartwick College in upstate New York I met my Fiancé, Tom. After Hartwick we moved to Minnesota for our graduate studies. I graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2013. In addition to studying Chiropractic I spent hundreds of hours in courses for nutrition. I was educated on the fascinating connection of dis-ease and nutrition. I now believe having a clear nervous system is the most important health you could give your body. The next most important factor is what you feed your body: nutritious food, clean water, good sleep, positive thought, and healthy motion. Following graduation I moved back to Maine to join Dr. Beth’s practice.
Outside of practicing Chiropractic, reading/listening to new information on health topics and attending seminars, I love to be active. I join Dr. Beth at CrossFit a few times a week. I also enjoy running, hiking, skiing, and walking the beach.
As an addition to Boucher Family Chiropractic it has been an honor to join this dynamic team. We are blessed with the best practice members in the world who are actively achieving their goals in life and living the life they want to.

In 2015, I decided it was time to make a change toward my physical health. My first step being chiropractic care. After years of monthly wellness adjustments at Boucher Family Chiropractic, I went from being a practice member to being apart of the Boucher Family Chiropractic team.
I enjoy being the friendly face our practice members see when entering the Wellness Center.
When I’m not at the office, you can find me with family and closest friends. I enjoy spending my days off reading, going to camp and just hanging out with my girls and husband.

My son had ear infection after ear infection, one would go away and weeks later another would come. After giving him several rounds of antibiotics, I realized it was not working and that the drugs were actually masking the problem, not correcting it.
Friends and family suggested I take him to a chiropractor. I did and after a few adjustments his body had the capability to clear the infection once the nervous system was clear. I was excited about his results. My son never had another ear infection. After that we all started getting checked.
I was inspired to become a doctor of chiropractic after working in a dynamic family practice for 9 years, as a Chiropractic Assistant. After witnessing the miraculous healing potential of our bodies while under chiropractic care. I decided to move to South Carolina to study Chiropractic.
In September 2005, I earned my doctorate from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. Feeling the need to come back to the northeast I moved back to Maine to start my practice, with the support of my husband, Tom and 2 children, Adam and Meghan.
I love watching the miracles daily as practice members start experiencing ease in their bodies. The adjustments allow the nervous system to unwind and change so the practice member becomes more flexible and adaptable.
In our office we see children and adults become healthier, more capable and more aware of what health is. With their new found health they are making healthier choices regarding diet, exercise, thoughts, relationships etc…Education is a priority at our office.
In my spare time you can find me doing something fun with family and loved ones. I love playing tennis, paddle ball, skiing, hiking. Exercise is an important part of my health, just like getting my spine checked regularly. I need to stay in shape mentally and physically. So, whether I am indoors at the gym or outdoors playing a sport, I feel the need to get some cardio daily.

Dr. Emily Coleman
I am so lucky to have grown up in a family of chiropractors who helped keep my nervous system regulated since I was in primary school. I have always had an interest in the human body and have loved getting adjusted from a young age.
I thought it was fascinating that the body had its own innate intelligence and knew exactly what it needed, when it needed it in order to keep the body functioning at its optimal being.
At 14, during a Dr. Beth adjustment, was when I decided to pursue chiropractic as a profession.
Since then, I have been fortunate to study human biology in my home state at Central Connecticut State University and then traveled down to the much warmer Marietta, Georgia to continue my studies at the professional level at Life University College of Chiropractic. Here, I dove deeper into my passion for holistic health.
I graduated from Life University in December of 2021. I am so grateful to join Boucher Family Chiropractic and work with my family and mentors, Dr. Beth and Dr. Meghan, as well as the lovely community of practice members who have joined over the years and welcomed me so well.
In my free time I enjoy reading, doing Pilates, finding new trails to explore, checking out New England breweries and learning to roller blade!
